What's better than a bowl of hot French fries? A bowl of hot French fries seasoned with Carne Asada Spice 'n Easy mix and topped with grilled steak, cheese, and guacamole! This dish is perfect for serving up on game day or on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Switch up the toppings however you want, and be prepared with dips: we like to dip our fries in Smoky Ketchup or Homemade Sriracha.

Ingredients


1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup canola oil

1/4 cup lime juice

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 lb. steak such as skirt, flank, or flap meat


1 (28 to 32 oz.) bag frozen french fries

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 roma tomatoes, diced

1/2 jalapeño, sliced

1/4 small red onion, sliced

Guacamole, to garnish

Sour cream, to garnish

Cilantro, to garnish

Directions

Step 1: Marinate steak

Remove 1 Tbsp. of seasoning from Carne Asada Spice ‘n Easy mix and set aside. In a medium bowl, combine cilantro, orange juice, canola oil, lime juice, soy sauce, and the remaining portion of Carne Asada Spice ‘n Easy mix and whisk to combine. Pour into a zip-top bag, add steak, and marinate in fridge for at least 20 min. or up to overnight.

Step 2: Grill steak

Preheat grill or grill pan for medium-high heat. Remove marinated steak from fridge and let come to room temperature. Season both sides of steak with Salt & Pepper Tableside Seasoning and grill 4 to 8 min. per side to reach an internal temperature between 125 degrees for rare and 160 degrees for well done. Remove from pan and let rest before slicing.

Step 3: Season and bake fries

Season fries with reserved 1 Tbsp. of Carne Asada Spice ‘n Easy mix and bake or air fry according to package direction.

Step 4: Assemble and serve

On a serving platter, arrange fries in an even layer. Top with cheese, sliced steak, tomatoes, jalapeño, onion, guacamole, sour cream, and cilantro. Serve immediately.
