Who knew bagels could be SO easy? These take less than an hour from start to finish, so enjoy your homemade bagels in no time!

Serving Suggestions

Serve with butter, cream cheese, labneh (a Greek-style kefir cheese), and/or lox. Try mixing Parmesan Pesto Sprinkle or Smoky Hills Cheese Powder into cream cheese or butter for a savory spread! This dough can also be used as a simple pizza crust (make mini crusts for bagel pizza bites) or as a flatbread and cooked in a cast iron skillet or on a grill. If you make pizza, use the Rustic Red Sauce Spice 'n Easy mix for a quick sauce.

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and Mayan Sea Salt until a sticky dough forms. Turn out onto a heavily floured surface and knead until dough is soft and no longer sticky to the touch, about 5 min. Split dough into 4 portions for regular bagels or 6 portions for mini bagels. Make a hole in the center of one of the pieces of dough and gently form into a bagel shape. Repeat with each piece of dough. Lay the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush each one with beaten egg. Sprinkle generously with Brooklyn Everything Bagel Seasoning and bake for 20 to 25 min., or until golden brown. Cool on a rack before enjoying.
