Dutch cocoa has been treated with an alkali which helps neutralize cocoas natural bitterness. It’s a richer, darker and slightly milder powder that is perfect for hot cocoa and other chocolate drinks. Dutch cocoa has a fat content of 22-24%. For a great cup of hot cocoa, mix 1 heaping tbsp. into a cup of hot milk. Sweeten to taste with any one of Savory Spice Shop’s vanilla bean sugars.
