A holiday twist on a southern classic, this refreshing dessert cocktail is the perfect for a holiday meal.

Ingredients

For simple syrup:


1/4 cup water

For drink:

1/4 to 1/2 oz. simple syrup

2 oz. bourbon

Crushed ice

Fresh mint, to garnish

Directions

Step 1: Make simple syrup

In a small pot, bring Chocolate Peppermint Sugar and water to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and chill.

Step 2: Assemble drink

To a highball glass, add simple syrup and bourbon. Fill glass with crushed ice and stir to frost outside of glass. Garnish with fresh mint.
