We’ve added non-fat powdered milk and powdered sugar to our cocoas with the right blend of spices to produce these ready-to-drink hot chocolate mixes. We use cinnamon (canela) and vanilla to flavor this Mexican inspired drink.
To make 1 serving: Boil 8 oz. of water. Add 1/2 cup of hot chocolate mix into a mug and add just enough water to cover. Stir to form a paste. Add the remaining water and stir until smooth. For a richer version, use milk instead of water.
Ingredients: Non-fat milk powder, sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla.
This salt-free mix is sweetened, chocolatey, cinnamony, and woody-floral.
Boil 6 oz water. Measure 5 T mix into mug. Cover with boiling water and stir to form paste. Add remaining water and stir until smooth. For a richer version, replace water with milk.
