Hibiscus Margaritas Recipe

INGREDIENTS

For simple syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup Hibiscus Flower

For margaritas:
- 1 Tbsp. Makrut Lime Sea Salt
- 4 oz. silver tequila
- 2 oz. lime juice
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. simple syrup

DIRECTIONS
For simple syrup: In a small pot, bring water, sugar, and Hibiscus Flowers to a boil. Remove from heat. Allow syrup to cool completely before straining and serving. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Syrup will last up to 2 weeks.
For rims: Pour Makrut Lime Sea Salt onto a small plate. Dip rims of two glasses in lime juice or water and then in Makrut Lime Sea Salt to generously coat rims.
For margaritas: In a cocktail shaker, add silver tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, and simple syrup. Add a handful of crushed ice, seal shaker, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into two rimmed glasses. Serve up or over ice.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve in a glass rimmed with Makrut Lime Sea Salt.
