Hibiscus Margarita from Savory Spice

A delicious and beautiful twist on a margarita!


YIELD
2 cups syrup, 1 margarita

INGREDIENTS
  • For hibiscus simple syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Hibiscus Flower
  • For margarita:

  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1/2 oz. Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz. hibiscus simple syrup

Add all Savory items to cart


DIRECTIONS

For simple syrup: Bring water, sugar, and hibiscus flowers to a boil and reduce to simmer. Cook until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool and strain into a jar and store in refrigerator.

For margarita: Shake all ingredients together and serve in a salt-rimmed glass filled with ice.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve in a glass rimmed with Makrut Lime Sea Salt.
