Highlands Italian Cheese Sprinkle
Many of the first Italian immigrants to Denver settled in an area which is now the neighborhood known as The Highlands. Our Italian style cheese sprinkle is named after this “Little Italy” neighborhood in our home city. This blend is heavy on the garlic, as many Italian dishes are, so if you are garlic lover, this one is for you.
For tasty garlic bread, simply butter your choice of bread, sprinkle thoroughly with Highlands, and bake to a toasty light brown.
For dip or dressing, mix 1-2 Tbsp. into 1 cup sour cream or a mayo and sour cream mixture.
Romano (part-skim cow’s milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes and sodium phosphate), roasted garlic, California basil, Greek oregano, green peppercorns.
