This Cajun Lentils stew, formerly known as Cajun Bayou Stew, is a quick & easy way to make a delicious Cajun-style stew at home. This Cajun recipe mix is ready in under 30 minutes, and is great for making both Cajun shrimp stew or Cajun chicken stew, though we recommend adding sausage to this Cajun blend of lentils and spices. You can also make this a vegetarian Cajun stew by skipping the meat altogether!

With Spice 'n Easy, cooking is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Just open, spice and serve. Each packet includes the pre-measured spices needed to make a quick, simple and tasty recipe.

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add andouille sausage and cook for 4 to 5 min. or until golden brown. Add Cajun Lentil Mix and toast for 1 min., stirring constantly. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer (covered) for 20 to 22 min. or until lentils are softened and liquid is mostly absorbed. Serve immediately.

Serve with: Rice or cornbread.

Top with: Sliced scallions or parsley.
