Ingredients

1/3 cup water


2 Tbsp. granulated sugar



3/4 cup brandy

10 oz. fresh or frozen cherries (washed, pitted and destemmed)

1 tsp. lemon or lime juice

Directions

In a small saucepan, bring water and Black Onyx Chocolate Sugar to a boil, stirring to dissolve. Place Chai Spices in a muslin bag. Tie bag and add to sugar water. Stir in brandy and cherries. Return mixture to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 5 min. Remove from heat and stir in lemon or lime juice. Transfer cherries, liquid and muslin bag with spices to a Mason jar. Let cool uncovered. Seal jar and refrigerate for 48 hours. After 48 hours, remove and discard muslin bag with spices.
