Mulling isn't just for the holidays! Use leftover Mulling Spices or Chai Spices to make this cool and refreshing summer treat.

Serving Suggestions

Serve as popsicles, crushed ice, blended into a slushie, or in a glass topped with soda water.

Ingredients

1.5 Tbsp. choice of spices:





0.25 cups packed brown sugar

0.5 gallons apple cider or apple juice

Directions

Place choice of spices in the muslin bag and tie bag shut. (Or use a large tea ball or piece of cheesecloth tied with twine.) Combine bag of spices with remaining ingredients in a large saucepan and heat to just below a simmer for about 30 min. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Discard spice bag and cinnamon stick. Pour spiced cider into popsicle molds or mini ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
