Appalachian Apple Pie Moonshine Recipe

- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup Spiced Vanilla Bean Sugar
- 4" Indonesian Cinnamon Stick
- 1/4 cup moonshine
Add all Savory items to cart
Moonshine is widely available in liquor stores, but vodka will work as a substitute.
Combine everything but the moonshine in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 min. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add moonshine and transfer to a 2-cup sealable jar. It’s ready to sip right away, but it gets even better if you let it sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Pour small servings from the jar and sip. Best enjoyed sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch.
