Make your jalapeños pop with a Caribbean seasoning that has a hint of heat and warming spices.

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 4 tsp. Bajan Seasoning
  • 6 large jalapeño peppers
  • 12 thin bacon slices

You can also make these poppers in an oven preheated to 400 degrees.



DIRECTIONS

Preheat grill for even, high heat. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and Bajan Seasoning and stir until smooth. Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Fill each jalapeno half with a level amount of the cream cheese mixture. Wrap a slice of bacon tightly around each jalapeno half so the bacon holds filling in place. Secure with a toothpick if necessary. Place poppers filled-side down on a sheet of foil and place on grill. Cook until bacon is crisp and jalapenos are tender, about 15 min., turning several times during cooking.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve hot or room temperature. These make a great party or picnic appetizer.
