Bajan Tamarind BBQ Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

For the paste:
- 6 Tbsp. Bajan Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Tomato Powder
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 2 Tbsp. fresh minced ginger
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil

For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup Liquid Tamarind Paste Concentrate
- 2 Tbsp. dark rum
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
Add all Savory items to cart
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, thoroughly mix together all paste ingredients. Place Bajan paste in a medium saucepan and toast over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 min., stirring constantly. Stir in sauce ingredients, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook for 6 to 8 min. to thicken sauce.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve warm with any protein marinated and grilled with our Bajan Marinade.
