From the author: "Folks, you can't beat a good rye bread but you can make it even better!" Swap up the traditional caraway rye with flavors of vanilla, lavender, and Baker's Brew.



This recipe requires a bread machine.


Load bread machine according to your machine's recommended directions and set to dough mode. Remove dough when mode is complete and place in a cold oven with the light on to rise for 1 hour. Shape bread as desired into 2 to 3 small loafs or freeform boules. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake for 17 min. or until crust is browned.

Serving Suggestions

This bread slices well and makes a great breakfast when toasted and buttered.
