Recipe: Buffalo Bleu Dip & Dressing
This tastes just like a bite of a wing dipped in blue cheese dressing. It makes a great dip for wings or veggies but it’s also handy as a topping for baked or roasted potatoes, a sandwich spread, or a dressing for chicken salad.
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. Buffalo Bleu Dip & Dressing Mix
- 1 Tbsp. Freeze-Dried Scallions (or 2 fresh scallions, minced)
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
For a thicker dip, increase sour cream and decrease buttermilk. For a pourable dressing, increase buttermilk and decrease sour cream.
Whisk all ingredients together. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 min. before using. The flavor gets better the longer you let it sit.
Serve as a dip for wings or veggies. Use as a dressing for greens, deviled eggs or chicken salad. Makes the perfect side for our Buttermilk & Buffalo Glazed Wings.
