Easy Green Chile Queso Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz. medium cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tsp. Hatch Green Chile Powder
- 1 tsp. Medium Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Add all Savory items to cart
Add more Hatch Green Chile Powder if you prefer a spicier queso.
Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Whisk in flour until completely absorbed. Slowly stir in milk. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Stir in cheese until melted and full incorporated. Stir in Hatch Green Chile Powder, Medium Chili Powder, and salt. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Serve with tortilla chips.
