Easy Rubbed Ribs Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) rack pork ribs
- 1/4 cup Pickling Spice
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. choice of rub:
- Platte River Rib Rub
- Pearl St. Plank Salmon Rub
- Native Texan BBQ Rub
- TSM KC Style Rub

This recipe will work with any of your favorite BBQ-inspired seasonings.
DIRECTIONS
Remove membrane (the thin skin on the bone side of the rack) from ribs. Cut rack in half, place in a 5-quart stock pot and cover with water. Add Pickling Spice to pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and parboil ribs for 45 min. Remove ribs from liquid and set on foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle each rack half with oil then rub generously with your choice of seasoning. Finish under a broiler or on a medium-high heat grill for about 10 min., with the meat side of the racks facing the heat source.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve slathered with your favorite barbecue sauce.
