Easy Ribs Recipe from Savory Spice

This easy parboiling method gives you a tender and flavorful rack of ribs without an entire day of cooking. It works with any style of ribs, like baby back ribs, spareribs, or St. Louis cut ribs. You can also use your favorite BBQ rub and mix it up each time you make them.

DIRECTIONS

Remove membrane (the thin skin on the bone side of the rack) from ribs. Cut rack in half, place in a 5-quart stock pot and cover with water. Add Shrimp & Crab Boil to pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and parboil ribs for 45 min. Remove ribs from liquid and set on foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle each rack half with a bit of the oil then rub generously with your choice of seasoning. Finish under a broiler or on a medium-high heat grill for about 10 min., with the meat side of the racks facing the heat source.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve slathered with your favorite BBQ sauce.
