A refreshing and deliciously addictive restaurant-style salsa.

This salsa is great with our Cuban Island Spice or Mapuche Style Merken Seasoning in place of Canyon Road Red Enchilada Seasoning.

Directions

In a food processor, blend tomatoes, chipotle in adobo sauce, enchilada seasoning and garlic into a smooth puree. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in cilantro and scallions. Add lime juice and sea salt to taste. Chill 1 hour before serving.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with tortilla chips.

As stated, this is a refreshing and deliciously addictive restaurant quality salsa.... even better the second day! Smooth and seductive with a slight after-burn. Serve alone with chips, or as an accompaniment to tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, burritos, eggs, etc. You will not be disappointed!

As the description said, this WAS a refreshing and deliciously addictive restaurant-style salsa. The smoky flavor of the chipotle was memorable. Serve with chips alone, or as an accompaniment to tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, burritos or eggs rancheros. Will be keeping this in my refrigerator!
