Garam Masala Spiced Cashews Recipe
6 to 8 servings
- 4 cups cashews, raw and unsalted
- 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Cayenne Chile Powder*
Add all Savory items to cart
*For a spicier version, use 1 tsp. cayenne.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, coat cashews with egg white. Add remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly coated. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread nuts in a single layer on the sheet. Roast, stirring every 5 to 10 min. until golden brown (about 25 to 35 min. total). Break up any clumps, cool and serve.
Serve as a snack or appetizer.
