Gluten-Free Chocolate Torte Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup finely ground almond flour
- 1 cup tapioca starch
- 1/2 cup Spiced Vanilla Bean Sugar
- 1/2 cup Natural Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Add all Savory items to cart
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a springform or 8-inch cake pan and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca starch, Spiced Vanilla Bean Sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder. In a separate bowl, combine milk, applesauce, butter, and eggs. Add wet mixture to dry, stirring to thoroughly combine. Fold in coconut and chocolate chips. Pour batter into cake pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, about 30 min. Cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
