Great Plains “4B” Bison Burger Recipe

For the burger:
- 3 Tbsp. Great Plains Bison & Beef Rub
- 1 tsp. Smoked Spanish Sweet Paprika
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 lb. ground bison
For the toppings:
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1 beefsteak tomato, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 4 slices cooked bacon, cut in half
Add all Savory items to cart
This recipe also works with beef instead of bison.
Mix spices and Worcestershire together in a medium bowl. Add ground bison and mix with hands until well combined. Form mixture into 4 patties and preheat grill to medium-high. Grill burgers to desired doneness. Toast buns on grill while burgers are cooking. Divide blue cheese crumbles among the top of all 4 burgers just before removing them from the grill. Place burgers on toasted buns and top each with beefsteak tomato slices, a small handful of basil leaves, and bacon slices.
