Gunbarrel is a seasoning made for folks who love to make their own sausage. This seasoning is based on the sweet and savory flavors of allspice, nutmeg and clove, which all pair nicely with the gaminess of venison. We handcraft this blend by mixing together salt, black pepper, allspice, garlic, mace, nutmeg, and cloves. To make your own sausage, add 1 tbsp. per pound of preferably a 50/50 venison and pork or beef mixture (because venison is so lean). If you’re just starting out, try making patties. Our Gunbarrel Venison Sausage Spice contains no MSG.
