Honey Mustard Barbecue Chicken Tenders Recipe

- 5 Tbsp. Southern Gold Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter, divided
- 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. Kosher Salt, plus more for seasoning
- 4 chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg

For sauce: Mix Southern Gold Barbecue Sauce, honey, 2 Tbsp. melted butter, vinegar, and 1/8 tsp. salt in a medium bowl.
For chicken: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and top with a baking rack. Pat chicken tenders dry with a paper towel and season all sides with salt to taste. Mix panko with 2 Tbsp. melted butter on a small plate. Beat egg in a medium bowl and add 1/4 cup of the sauce. Dip chicken tenders in egg mixture and set on plate of panko, pressing and turning to coat. Place chicken tenders on baking rack and bake for 20 min., or until chicken reaches 165 degrees. Drizzle with reserved sauce.
