Recipe: Jamaican Jerk Marinade
Bring the island heat and flavor to your ribs, pork, shrimp and steak.
The regular Jamaican Jerk Seasoning has a bit of a kick. For an even hotter version, use the Extra Hot Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. Makes enough marinade for about 2 pounds of protein.
Combine all ingredients and use to marinate your favorite protein for up to 12 hours.
While marinated protein is cooking, add remaining marinade to a small saucepan and simmer until reduced and thickened into a sauce to serve on top or alongside cooked protein.
