A great way to make a tasty tomato soup in no time with ingredients you likely already have in your spice rack.

NOTES

*This recipe works with any of your favorite bouillon cube flavors. Cantanzaro Herbs can be used in place of Italian Herbs and Italian Black Truffle Sea Salt in place of Garlic Salt.



DIRECTIONS

Combine water and tomato powder in a medium saucepan to make a paste. Whisk in milk. Add bouillon, herbs, onion, and bay leaves and bring to a simmer, whisking to dissolve bouillon. Season to taste with your choice of salt. Serve warm.

I love the base product- creamy and warm, without the trouble of having to spend inordinate periods of time to make it! My kids ran all around the house, and I had my recipe done in mere minutes. As much as I love the Cantanzaro Herbs (my personal favourite blend), I thought the Italian Herbs were a better fit. I did add some extra tomato powder and turmeric, for a heartier soup. The onions have a better texture reconstituted prior to cooking- but the truffle salt is a sublime touch on top of the soup! Thanks for the recipe, my family loved it!
