Lemon Ginger Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

For cookies:
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp. Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

For lemon icing:
- 1 tsp. Pure Lemon Extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
Add all Savory items to cart
DIRECTIONS
For cookies: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, salt, ginger, baking soda, and egg until mixture is uniform in color. Stir in flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until incorporated. Spoon the batter onto a nonstick cookie sheet in 1-inch dollops, leaving 2 inches between dollops. Bake for 10 to 12 min. Let cool for 10 min. while you prepare the icing.
For icing: Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Drizzle over cookies and let icing set for 10 min. before serving.
