These shortbread-like cookies are full of sweet maple flavor, complemented by the nutty crunch of pecan.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Natural Maple Extract
  • 40 pecan halves

Add all Savory items to cart


DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together butter, sugar, and salt until light and fluffy. Mix in extract and flour. Roll a tablespoon of dough at a time into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Gently press a pecan half into each round to flatten slightly. Bake for 12 to 15 min., or until cookies just begin turning golden around the edges.
