Moongphali Chatpata (Fiery Spicy Peanuts) Recipe
- 4 tsp. powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. * Chat Masala
- 1/2 tsp. * Hungarian Paprika
- 1/2 tsp. * Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tsp. * Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Dried Organic Spearmint, ground into a powder
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 2 cups raw peanuts
Add all Savory items to cart
In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar, Chat Masala, paprika, salt, cayenne and powdered peppermint leaves; set aside. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add peanuts and fry, stirring and tossing, until the peanuts brown and begin to crack, 6 to 7 min. Strain peanuts in a colander to drain the oil. Transfer peanuts to a large bowl and sprinkle with the spice mixture in small quantities, carefully tossing to coat. Repeat until all of the spice has been thoroughly incorporated to coat the peanuts.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
