Mulled Wine Black Onyx Chocolate Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Mulling Spices
- 1 tsp. Dehydrated Minced Orange Peel
- 1/4 cup Dutch Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 cup Black Onyx Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
Add all Savory items to cart
DIRECTIONS
Combine first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 min. Turn off heat, cover and steep for 15 min. Strain solids and return the liquid to a clean saucepan. Whisk in cocoa powders and corn syrup until smooth. Simmer for 2 min. Turn off heat and stir in chopped chocolate until melted. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Serve with fruit or drizzled over ice cream.
