This recipe was adapted from Skinny Taste’s Easy Bagel Recipe. For gluten-free bagels, substitute an equal amount of all-purpose gluten-free flour mix or 1 1/2 cups almond flour.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, and salt until a sticky dough forms. Turn out onto a heavily floured surface and knead until dough is soft and no longer sticky to the touch, about 5 min. Split dough into 4 portions for regular bagels or 6 portions for mini bagels. Make a hole in the center of one of the pieces of dough and gently form into a bagel shape. Repeat with each piece of dough. Lay the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush each one with beaten egg. Sprinkle generously with bagel blend and bake for 20 to 25 min., or until golden brown. Cool on a rack before enjoying.
Serve with butter, cream cheese, labneh (a Greek-style kefir cheese), and/or lox. Try mixing Parmesan Pesto Sprinkle or Paris Cheese Sprinkle into cream cheese or butter for a savory spread! This dough can also be used as a simple pizza crust (make mini crusts for "bagel" pizza bites) or as a flatbread and cooked in a cast iron skillet or on a grill. If you make pizza, use the Rustic Red Sauce Spice ‘n Easy mix for a quick sauce.THANKS TO
