Rose Water and Cardamom Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts
- 1 cup flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. Ground Inner Cardamom Seeds
- 1/2 tsp. Pure Madagascar Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp. Rose Water
- 4 oz. butter, room temp. and cut into 1/2" cubes
- 1 cup powdered sugar

This recipe was inspired by Toni's friend from Lebanon.
DIRECTIONS
Pulse walnuts in food processor until finely chopped. Add flour, sugar, cardamom, vanilla and rose water. Pulse until combined. Add butter in pieces, pulsing between each addition until all blended and a dough forms. Shape dough into 24 balls, 1 1/2" in diameter. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 35 min. on a greased or lined cookie sheet. Let cool for 5 min. and roll in powdered sugar. Let cookies cool completely on wire racks and roll through powdered sugar again before serving.
