Salted Guajillo Butterscotch Sauce Recipe
- 10 Tbsp. butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp. Guajillo Chile Powder
- 1 1/4 tsp. Natural Butterscotch Extract
- 1 tsp. Mayan Sea Salt

This recipe goes quickly, so have all ingredients measured out and ready to go by the stove. It also works with virtually any flavor combination, so use your imagination!
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add brown sugar and whisk for 1 min. to combine. Continue whisking while adding cream. Simmer for 5 min., stirring frequently. Remove from heat, whisk in guajillo completely, then whisk in butterscotch extract and sea salt. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
