An Asian-inspired vinaigrette flavored with freshly toasted sesame seeds, garlic, and soy sauce.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Tbsp. White Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed into a paste
  • 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup peanut oil

DIRECTIONS

Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for a few minutes until aromatic. Smash them slightly in a mortar and pestle. Stir together sesame seeds, garlic, sesame oil, vinegars, and soy sauce. Drizzle in peanut oil while whisking rapidly until completely combined and emulsified.



SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve over your favorite salad mix or dress noodles or slaw with red or white cabbage, carrots, and cilantro.
