Recipe: Sweet Chile Pulled Pork
This 5-ingredient, customer-submitted recipe requires almost zero effort and uses one of our most popular seasonings. What's not to love?
- 2 apples, chopped
- 1/2 cup berry flavored kombucha*
- 1 lb. boneless pork loin roast (preferably Neiman Ranch)
- olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Peruvian Chile Lime Seasoning
*Kombucha is a fermented tea typically available in the bottled, ready-to-drink section of health food stores and grocery stores.
Lay apples in the bottom of a slow cooker and pour in about 1/2 cup kombucha, or enough to almost cover apples. Place pork roast on a plate and lightly coat it with olive oil on all sides. Generously dust the meat on all sides with Peruvian Chile Lime Seasoning. Cook on low for at least 6 hours.
Serve with rice, refried beans, guacamole, and some tortilla chips.
