Tangy Sweet & Sour Mix (for Mocktails or Cocktails) Recipe
About 6 cups sour mix

- 2 cups lemon juice
- 3 cups water
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup Hot Pepper Vinegar Barbecue Sauce
Add all Savory items to cart
Adjust honey or vinegar sauce to taste if you want more sweetness or more tang and heat.
Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher until honey is completely incorporated. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Mocktail: Mix 1/2 cup sour mix with 1/4 to 1/2 cup soda water. Serve over ice. Garnish with a lemon or a lime slice and a sprig of fresh herbs like mint, basil, rosemary, or thyme.
Mojito: Rim a tall cocktail glass with Peppermint Vanilla Bean Sugar. Add 1/4 lime and 2 sprigs mint and muddle together with the back of a wooden spoon. Stir in 1/2 cup sour mix and 1 oz. light rum. Top with ice (and soda water if desired) and serve.
Whiskey Sour: In a highball glass, stir together 1/2 cup sour mix with 1 oz. whiskey. Top with ice and garnish with a slice of lemon or orange and a maraschino cherry.
Bee's Knees: In your favorite cocktail glass, muddle 1 wedge of lemon with a sprig of thyme. Stir in 1/2 cup sour mix and 1 oz. gin or vodka. Top with ice (and soda water if desired) and garnish with another wedge of lemon and a fresh sprig of thyme.
