Thyme Spelt Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cups bread flour
- 2 cups spelt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Honey Powder
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 2 tsp. bread machine yeast
- 1 Tbsp. Mediterranean Thyme
- 3 Tbsp. Dried Parsley (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. Freeze Dried Chives (optional)

NOTES
This recipe requires a bread machine.
DIRECTIONS
Set machine in dough mode and load everything except the optional ingredients. Once the machine ends the first mixing cycle and before the second starts, add the optional ingredients (if using). Once dough mode is complete, load the dough (which should be fairly sticky and damp) into a loaf pan and let rise for 1 hour. Bake in an oven preheated to 400 degrees for about 17 min. or until bread is golden and sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from oven, release from pan, and let cool completely before slicing.
