Vadouvan Rice TEST Recipe

- 1 1/2 tsp. Vadouvan

From the recipe author: “I love fried rice, rice balls, and simple seasonings that shine through. I needed a simple blend that wouldn't overpower the rice or other dishes to serve with it. I also wanted something simple so that one pot of rice could be used in many ways, and this was the ticket!”
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer for 5 min. then turn off heat and cover until the rice is done. This will make a 'sticky rice'. If you want a more 'fluffy' rice, slightly heap the cup of rice and reduce the water/stock by 3 Tbsp. This also works well in a rice maker.
This can be served as a side dish. Leftovers can be formed into rice balls for a unique snack or side—makes a great lunch for work or school! It's also a good base for stir fry vegetables.
