Vadouvan Rice Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 tsp. Vadouvan
- 1 cup Calrose medium-grain rice
- 2 cups water or chicken stock
Add all Savory items to cart
NOTES
This will make a sticky rice. If you would like more of a "fluffy" rice, slightly heap the rice and reduce the water/stock by 3 Tbsp.
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a medium pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 min. Turn heat off and cover until rice is done. Alternatively, add all ingredients to a rice maker and cook using the normal settings for white rice.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
This can be served as a side dish, but the rice can also be cooled and formed into rice balls for a unique side item in a lunch bag for work or school. It also works as a good base to which to add cabbage, carrots, onion, and other stir-fry vegetables.
