Murray River Salt Flakes
Details
Salt from a river? These flakey salt crystals are from the ancient saline waters sourced from underground aquifers in Australia’s Murray-Darling Basin. Low rainfall and high evaporation rate have created too much salt in the groundwater. By pulling the salt from these waters the environment is improved and a beautiful salt is produced.
These crystals are light, delicate and apricot in color due to naturally occurring minerals in the saline water. Because of its texture and color this salt is great as a finisher. It has a mild flavor and the flakes dissolve quickly on the tongue. Try it on eggs, meats, salads, seafood and vegetables.
