When we say small batch BBQ sauce, we mean it! Taking inspiration from his Chasing BBQ road trip, Savory founder Mike Johnston brought back his favorite regional barbecue flavors to the Savory Spice Test Kitchen. After lots of testing and tasting, we turned the flavors of Mike’s journey into eight delicious BBQ sauces to share with our customers.

 Tomato sauce, mustard (distilled vinegar, water, #1 grade  mustard seed, salt, turmeric, paprika, spice, natural flavors and garlic  powder), sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, dijon  mustard, less than 2% of molasses, salt,  black pepper, granulated garlic, onion powder, hickory smoke flavor,  maltodextrin, ground chipotle chile pepper. Contains soy.
Shake well before serving. Refrigerate after opening.

This sweet and tangy sauce was inspired by visits to legendary barbecue joints in Texas and South Carolina. It marries the sweetness of tomato with the tanginess of mustard. We upped the mustard level typically found in a Texas version and reduced the mustardy bite of a South Carolina version. With the addition of tomato, this balanced barbecue sauce is truly versatile. This all-purpose sauce is delicious on sausage, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Use it to make your own barbecue-inspired dressing or dip.
