1 - Chicharron Salt
Chicharrones, also known as pork rinds or cracklings, are pork skins which have been fried into airy, crunchy pieces of deliciousness. We combined these with another flavor from the South, hot pepper vinegar, to create this unique salt. Read the full story behind this pork-tastic new product from founder Mike Johnston.
1 - Alabama White Barbecue Sauce
This sauce was inspired by visiting the legendary barbecue joint that invented it: Big Bob Gibson’s in Decatur, Alabama. Created in 1925, the use of mayo in BBQ sauce was unique in the barbecue world, but its flavor has passed the test of time! Like the original, ours is thin, tangy vinegar and mayonnaise-based sauce; but our version is seasoned with our smoky Long’s Peak Pork Chop Spice. Great for adding a smoky tang to chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. Use as a dressing for coleslaw or potato salad.
1 - Black Dust Coffee & Spice Barbecue Sauce
This sauce was inspired by the rise of rich, bold coffee-based barbecue sauces. It’s a thick, ketchup based sauce flavored with a hint of hickory smokiness and our signature Black Dust Coffee & Spice Rub. The strong and distinctively earthy flavors of coffee, pepper, cumin, and cocoa stand up well to all types of barbecue. Great for adding smoky sweetness to pork or beef ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. Try a little in your next pot of chili.
1 - Hot Pepper Vinegar Barbecue Sauce
This tangy vinegar sauce, with spicy and sweet chile peppers, was inspired by visits to legendary barbecue joints on the eastern coasts of North and South Carolina. The locals love the way heat and tang pair with and cut through their type of barbecue – pork. The tangy kick of habanero heat is great with pulled pork, chopped pork, and pork rinds. Try it in sides like potato salad or collard greens.
