When will I receive my first monthly shipment?
All Spice Club orders placed after the 10th of each month will ship on the 15th of the following month. You also have the option to choose a later month. You will receive your Spice Club package within 5-7 business days via USPS First Class Mail. Please contact us if you haven't received your package. The best way to contact us is to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours.
How are the spices shipped?
Spice Club packages are shipped via USPS First Class Mail with tracking.
Do the spices and recipes change each month?
Each year, four new recipes will be added to incorporate new flavors and recipes. The rest of the year, we will repeat popular recipes from past Spice Club shipments.
Can I pick up my Spice Club subscription at a store instead of having it shipped?
Spice Club will not be available for pick up at your local store. All Spice Club subscriptions will be shipped so that we can offer a consistent experience and make sure you receive our fresh ground seasonings in a timely manner.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We do not ship Spice Club outside of the U.S. at this time.
I have a Spice Club subscription and haven't see this month's shipment yet. How can I track it?
You will receive an email confirmation once your Spice Club package ships on the 15th of the month. If you don't see your Spice Club package in your mailbox within 5-7 business days after the 15th of the month, please email us at email@example.com and we can help you track it. To help us find your subscription and track your package, please include the name of the person that purchased the Spice Club subscription, who Spice Club is shipping to, what plan was purchased (6 month or 12 month), and where it was purchased (store location or website).
Which spices and recipes am I going to receive?
Spice Club is an adventure. We’ll surprise you with different spices and a new recipe every month you’re in the club. We won’t publish the monthly schedule of spices and recipes ahead of time, but we will post each current month’s recipe and spices once they have been shipped to Spice Club members. You can visit our Spice Club Recipes & Spices page to see a sample of the types of spices and recipes to expect.
How much spice will I receive each month?
Each month you’ll receive one bag of a handcrafted signature seasoning (2-4 Tbsp.) plus one bag of an herb or spice that complements the seasoning (2-4 Tbsp.). You'll always receive enough spices to make the featured recipe of the month, but we usually send a little more so you can explore the spices in other dishes. We’ll also send you a bonus spice every few months.
How quickly should the spices you send me be used?
The spices you receive through Spice Club will be a combination of whole spices and fresh ground spices. Whole spices retain their flavor the longest, about 2 to 3 years. Ground spices tend to lose their flavor much quicker, as fast as 6 to 9 months. At Savory Spice, we grind our spices weekly and you can purchase them in small amounts to ensure you’re always cooking with the freshest flavor.
Can I choose spices and recipes based on nutrition, diet, allergy, or flavor preferences?
You cannot choose spices and recipes specific to nutrition, diet, allergy, or flavor preferences. We will select a variety of seasonings and spices with a mix of ingredient considerations (from dairy-free to sugar-free to salt-free) and flavor considerations (from curry to all-purpose to BBQ). All of our spices are gluten-free, and we will avoid sending spices that contain nuts, dairy, or other major allergens. Where possible, we will also offer recipe substitution suggestions for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. In addition to the spices and recipe content you receive in the mail each month, we will post even more spice uses and recipe ideas to our website in case you want to search for something that better fits your dietary or flavor preferences.
Do your spices contain any allergens, like dairy, gluten or nuts?
In Spice Club shipments, we will avoid sending spices linked to common allergens. A large majority of our spices do not contain common allergens. Specialized equipment is used when handling dairy or nut allergens to ensure there is no cross-contamination. All of our spices and seasonings are gluten-free.
How do I reorder any of the spices I liked?
You can reorder any of the spices here or visit a Savory Spice location near you. We will also publish the monthly Spice Club recipes and spice details on our Recipes & Spices page. You'll find links to purchase Spice Club spices within these pages.
What if I don’t like some of the spices or recipes you send me?
Through Spice Club, we hope to introduce you to new flavors that will help you look at spices and seasonings in a new light. Trying something new is what makes the club fun! Each month, we hand select the spices that are most popular with our customers and spice merchants. Our recipes are then carefully tested (and tasted) by our test kitchen team, so we know they are crowd pleasers. In addition to the spices and recipe content you receive in the mail each month, we will post even more to our website in case you want to search for something that better fits your dietary or flavor preferences. Because these are food products, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on Spice Club spices you don’t like.
How do I make address or email changes to my subscription?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make changes to your subscription. Subscription changes must be made by the 10th of the month to take effect for that month's shipment. To help us find your subscription, please include the name of the person that purchased the Spice Club subscription, who Spice Club is shipping to, what plan was purchased (6 month or 12 month), and where it was purchased (store location or website).
Can I gift a subscription?
Great idea! You can gift as many Spice Club subscriptions as you want. Once you choose a plan, you’ll be prompted to complete the order by entering the shipping information for the person who will be receiving Spice Club.
Do you have anything I can give to my giftee letting them know what they will receive?
Of course! Each Spice Club subscription includes a free bonus month which will ship right away to either your own address or the address of the person who will be reveiving Spice Club. In addition to the bonus month, we have a printable gift note available here.
Does my Spice Club subscription automatically renew?
Your Spice Club subscription will not automatically renew. We will remind you when your plan is about to expire and you can purchase a new plan if you'd like to continue being a part of Spice Club.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Spice Club subscriptions are non-refundable. We can transfer subscriptions to a different mailing address if you want to forward your subscription to someone else. If you don’t want to receive any remaining months left in your subscription, you can contact us at email@example.com to either transfer or cancel your remaining shipments. Subscription changes must be made by the 9th of the month to take effect for that month's shipment.
Do I get Loyalty Rewards on purchases of Spice Club plans?
Loyalty Club rewards are not rewarded on purchases of gift cards, Spice Club or discounted Event Gifting orders.
