Pepper, Black, Tellicherry: Extra Fine

Tellicherry black peppercorns are the best of the best and come from the Malabar Coast of India. These peppercorns are left on the vine to mature longer, creating a mellow, well-rounded taste which is a bit fruity.

Back in the days when the Roman Empire ruled, black pepper was used as an international means of currency and was said to be the king of all spices.

Extra Fine: 60 mesh size. This is all of the dust we have been removing from the other grinds. This type of ground pepper consists mainly but not totally of the inner white part of the peppercorn, which makes it great for soups, sauces, gravies and dressings.
