We hand mix this simple but useful blend from kosher salt and ground celery seeds. Celery, which is a member of the same family as carrots, parsley and caraway, can overpower a dish so use care when using this blend.

Although a simple blend, celery salt is just as essential in your kitchen as garlic and onion salt. Try using in potato salad, tuna salad or hamburgers. Tomato juice and Bloody Mary’s can be enhanced with the addition of celery salt. Roll the rim of a glass soaked in lime juice in celery salt to get bit in every sip.
