Jamaican Jerk Marinade

Notes:

The regular Jamaican Jerk Seasoning has a bit of a kick. For an even hotter version, use the Extra Hot Jamaican Jerk Seasoning. Makes enough marinade for about 2 pounds of protein.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and use to marinate your favorite protein for up to 12 hours.

Serving Suggestions:

While marinated protein is cooking, add remaining marinade to a small saucepan and simmer until reduced and thickened into a sauce to serve on top or alongside cooked protein.

    I love this marinade! Followed recipe exactly, thought initially it would end up being too sour but I was wrong. I used chicken for this and it was just like or even better than what I normally get at the grocery store/restaurants.
