We have recently made a modification to this recipe. Prior to August 28, 2014, this item contained pink peppercorns which are related to cashews and may produce an allergic response in people with allergies to tree nuts.

The marriage of citrus and pepper stands the test of time. We add two different types of lemon peel for even more zesty flavor. Pyramid Peak Lemon Pepper consists of lemon peel, Meyer lemon peel, coarse black pepper, salt, citric acid, sugar, garlic, and other spices. The lemon peel gives this blend a tart, bright flavor while Meyer lemon peel adds a slightly sweet, floral note. This is an all-purpose blend, perfect for most savory dishes. Great for seasoning fish, poultry, beef or pork. Also nice sprinkled on eggs, veggies or salads.

Lemon peel, black pepper, Meyer lemon peel, salt, citric acid, white sugar, granulated garlic, fenugreek seed, white onion, turmeric, mace, Mediterranean thyme, coriander, cumin, ginger, cayenne, arrowroot, Saigon cinnamon, anise seed, cloves, cardamom.

Substitute Pyramid Peak Lemon Pepper for black pepper anywhere you want a bold, zesty flavor. Mix 1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon pepper into 1 cup sour cream or yogurt for a tangy dip. For mouthwatering chicken, let your bird pieces soak in a mixture of 1 cup buttermilk to 2 Tbsp. lemon pepper for a couple of hours before cooking. For a bright vinaigrette, whisk 2 tsp. lemon pepper with 2 Tbsp. vinegar and 1/3 cup oil of choice. For a citrus-inspired marinade, mix 1 to 2 Tbsp. lemon pepper with ¼ cup each orange juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil.
