Meatloaf Sandwich Competition

The Rules:
The rules were simple--use leftover Seven Onion BBQ Meatloaf from the day before to make the best meatloaf sandwich. Mike, Michael, and Ashlee had 30 minutes and a fully stocked Test Kitchen to create a meatloaf sandwich masterpiece to present to three judges.
The Contestants
Mike
Co-Founder of Savory Spice
Entry: Greekloaf Gyro

Mike’s mom’s side of his family is Greek, so he grew up eating Gyros. His wife, Janet, actually suggested this idea to Mike. “Greekloaf concept made perfect sense. Gyros are basically just a meatloaf that’s on a spit,” Mike said. “I love the challenge of using up leftover ingredients in the fridge.”
So he was ready to impress the judges.
Mike’s Secret Ingredients
- Leftover Seven Onion BBQ Meatloaf, sliced into 1/8 thick strips, fried in vegetable oil
- Cucumber slices
- Tomato slices

- Greek oregano
- Dill weed
- Lemon juice
