As a Tex-Mex cheesy queso, it's also great as a chip dip, but try mixing it into pasta for a Tex-Mex macaroni & cheese! For more of a "kick," add Aleppo Pepper Hot Sauce to queso dip.

DIRECTIONS:
For queso: In a small pot, stir Tex-Mex Queso & Dip mix and milk over medium-high heat for 3 min. until mixture comes to a simmer. Lower heat to medium-low, add cream cheese, and stir for 4 min. until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in shredded cheese and lime juice until smooth. Serve hot.
For dip: In a small bowl, combine Tex-Mex Queso & Dip mix and sour cream. Cover and chill for 30 min. or until ready to serve.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Top with diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño, avocado, or cilantro.

NOTES: For a vegan version of queso, use plant-based milk and cheese.
For a vegan version of dip, use plant-based sour cream alternative.

To make Tex-Mex queso: In a small pot, combine Tex-Mex Queso & Dip Mix with milk. Stir over medium-high heat for about 3 min., or until milk comes to a simmer. Lower heat to medium-low, add cream cheese, and whisk constantly for about 4 min., or until cream cheese has melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese and lime juice. Thin with additional milk as needed. Serve immediately or keep in a slow cooker on "warm."
