Capitol Hill Green Beans
Recipe by Jeni Pittard, Savory Spice customer
Simmering green beans in broth infuses them with an extra layer of flavor. They're quickly finished with a bit of butter or olive oil and seasoned with one of our customer favorites, Capitol Hill Seasoning. This is an addictively delicious side for a holiday feast or a simple weeknight meal.

4 servings

1 lb. green beans, trimmed 4 cups beef or vegetable broth*
Capitol Hill Seasoning

Coarse Black Malabar Pepper
1/4 tsp. Coarse Black Malabar Pepper (optional)

1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Cut green beans into 2-inch pieces, or leave them whole depending on preference. Bring broth and green beans to a boil in a large saucepan. Boil for 4 to 5 min.
